This is a Hard to Find Covered Vegetable Serving Dish in the Royal Copenhagen Blue Fluted Plain pattern. The bowl is 8' diameter X 2" deep, and with the lid on it's 5" high. It weighs in at 3 pounds, 8 ounces. Be prepared for the seemingly excessive postal costs. If you live near Portland, Oregon, you can come pick it up for free.
I can find no damage at all on this beautiful serving dish. No nicks, cracks, crazing and even no flea bites (itsy-bitsy nicks). There are two tiny brown spots from the factory under the glaze on the inside of the bowl. The glaze throughout is perfect, including the bottom.
On the bottom you can see the incised "277/1" (photo #9), and the artist's marks of the three blue waves and the artist's initials, "ln" from the base in photo #7, and 1/277 indicating the porcelain blank style, and the stamped Royal Copenhagen Denmark insignia. The insignia and the painter's initials of "yn" on the underside of the lid is in photo #6.
I can't quite make out the date mark, so I can't tell you the year of manufacture.
